You look so Fine
The sphere is worked from inside out, layer by layer. It is worked continuously. Used techniques are Double Right Angle Weave and Chenille stitch. Both techniques are explained in the instructions, pre knowledge is not required.
But as spheres are more labor intense and have their challenges, this project is not recommended to beginners.
Students will also learn the basic techniques to create own designs in this way.
It would be helpful to practice Double right angle weave ahead of class.
Students receive a PDF file of the pattern which includes written instructions, drawings, illustrations and additional video sequences of all steps.
A Song in Your Heart
The bowl is made in a self supporting construction, based on several layers of Double RAW. The embellishments and the base are worked in layers. No complicated 3D stitches are needed. The workshop requires some homework ahead (preparing parts of the
DRAW base) to make the class more enjoyable. Students receive a PDF file of the pattern which includes written instructions, drawings, illustrations and additional video sequences of all steps.
Here Comes the Sun
First we add a lush, spiral shaped embellishment to the filigree. Then we create a base in DRAW stitch and add some more little ornaments. Two little beaded buttons and twisted loops are the clasp. The focal component has a diameter of 5 cm. The bracelet is 20 cm long. The length can be changed easily. For a longer one we need additional 11A and 11B beads. The pattern includes written instructions, drawings and
pictures. In addition you will find a video that demonstrates all steps of the project. The pattern will be provided as PDF.
Sweet Creature
The focal is a rivoli, but the highlight is the framework around. In a structure of DRAW you find plenty of sparkle and little flower ornaments. The fringes repeat these tiny ornaments and round up the piece. The chain is flexible to use, you can wear the necklace long and short, just as you prefer. The pendant has a size of 8 x 5cm (not including the fringe part).
Enjoy the Silence
This beautiful asymmetric collier showcases two different beaded components. The star shaped ornament (4cm diameter) is used in the pendant part and also as clasp button. The little bud shaped pendants are mounted in two different ways to spin and move while you wear the piece. The necklace is about 50cm long (size can be varied easily).
Imagine
Bezeled chatons and multiple interlaced bands in Ladderstitch, all mounted to a base in Double RAW. The variety of stitches makes this a very playful and not too complicated project.
